Takia has fifteen years of honorable military service as an Active Army National Guard and National Guard Soldier. Born and raised in Maryland. She has four sisters and one brother.

Her hobbies include swimming, networking, and traveling.

Takia has 3 children. She has co-authored nine books, with two new releases scheduled for 2025!

She is also an Mortgage Loan Officer & Life Insurance Agent.
